VICTOR SOARES
I am a South African born wildlife photographer now based in Surrey, UK. From as far back as I can remember, I have loved wildlife and the great outdoors and am happiest when outside, exploring, taking in the fresh air and experiencing the true beauty of our natural world.
Photography has allowed me to witness and showcase wildlife the way I view and experience it. In most of my photography, I try to capture the personalities behind the creatures and hope that my images allow the viewers to get a sense of the individual rather than the species.
I arrange and lead photographic workshops and tours that allow the participants to witness and photograph some of the most intriguing and charismatic wildlife that I have seen and experienced.
My photography has been featured in a range of publications from magazines to coffee table books and often appears online. I am also fortunate enough to have won or been well placed in both local and international photographic competitions.

I had the pleasure of joining Victor in Norway on his recent tour 'Eagles in the Snow'. Victor kept us well informed as to what equipment and flight arrangements would be needed, and briefed us on arrival in preparation for the upcoming photography hide sessions.
We were well fed and looked after, the accommodation was clean and comfy and everything ran very smoothly. Victor was always on hand to help with any questions and to share his excellent knowledge. We did get to capture eagles in the snow and so much more besides! I wouldn't hesitate to book a tour with Victor again.
